Meeting with Impact Businesses

Organized by Más Consulting at the Ecovivo facilities during the summer, this consulting firm specializing in Green Businesses with operations in the states of Yucatán and Jalisco, held the Meeting with Impact Businesses.

This event aimed not only to increase and make visible the entrepreneurs from Jalisco who are generating employment through their impact value chains, but also to promote and carry out sustainable practices in their business models.

According to data from the Ministry of Economy, the state of Jalisco was the fourth largest contributor of capital flows to Mexico's GDP in 2025. This means that in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (ZMG), hundreds of thousands of micro and small businesses are not only reducing the unemployment rate every day but are also incorporating environmental and sustainability strategies into their operations. For this reason, five regional companies were selected and invited to participate in an event at Ecovivo, where they presented their products and services to an audience of conscious consumers.

The five businesses selected to participate included companies from the financial, food and beverage, and textile industries. For example, Dan's Café, a company focused on increasing environmental, ethical, and traceability standards in the coffee industry, showcased the ethical techniques employed from cultivation to the sale of the beans in cities. Similarly, the impact-driven company "Tintes Naturales, Los Colores de México" (Natural Dyes, The Colors of Mexico), led by entrepreneur Arcelia Julián, offered the general public a free one-hour workshop in which the designer explained a variety of ancestral techniques for dyeing different types of textiles using everyday elements such as turmeric, palo santo, red onions, blue corn, and other local ingredients.

During the 4-hour event, more than 45 people had the opportunity to increase not only their knowledge in different industries, but some also received advice on renewable energy issues from companies specializing in solar panels and green hydrogen.
