As part of World Recycling Day, a re-intentioned art event was held, in which students from the Pinceladas del Corazón organization participated.

The participants created works of art using the Peruzzi technique, transforming a total of 25 chairs that were recovered through a campaign coordinated by Ecovivo during the month of April. This exercise not only allowed talented young people to create their own pieces of art but also rescued furniture that would have been discarded.

Once the artworks using chairs as central objects were completed, each individual committed to the task of painting an additional chair in their home with the emphasis of reflecting with their loved ones on what caring for the environment means to them.

During the month of June, these environmental-themed artworks were exhibited at Ecovivo, accompanied by a brief biography from each of the artists. Finally, the Zapopan Recycling Laboratory gave a presentation during the exhibition about plastic pelletizing for reuse in new materials.
